We know that our books aren't cheap, but you can't compare the cost of our books to the cost of other children's books. Other books don't offer the educational value of our books. Other books don't contain hundreds of math, science, social studies, language arts, and reading concepts in a format that kids love. It costs a lot of money to develop such educational materials, and as a nonprofit agency, we simply do not have the volume purchasing power or marketing budgets that help other publishing companies drive down the cost of their finished products. We like to offer discounts whenever we can, and we especially like to lend a hand to teachers who are using personal funds to buy books for their classrooms. Here are some ways you can get a discount or free shipping:
* Call us at 919.969.3141, tell us you want to pay by money order, paypal, or official check (we don't take personal checks), and we'll give you a discount, but this will obviously delay your order until we receive payment.
* Email us an honest, detailed review of one of our books. Tell us you would like to get discounts on a future order. If we feel that your review is detailed enough, we will either post it on our website or suggest that you post it on another book ordering website. We will then give you a discount code.
* Submit a lesson plan or teaching activity for use with our books. If we like what you've sent, we'll give you a discount code.
* Order damaged books! We have books that have minor damage and we sell them at huge discounts. Click for details.
